The Birds

If I didn't know better, I would say that Alfred Hitchcock's inspiration for The Birds was born in Texas. His inspiration was actually a novel by Daphne du Maurier.

When I was in Texas, I saw these birds called Grackles. They are so scary. Every day between 5:00 and 5:30 ~ these birds migrated to one place in the Galleria. These birds scared me to the 100th degree.

There weren't 10 or 20, there were like 100 or 200 or more. They landed on power lines and the roofs of buildings and the traffic lights.

I can saw beyond any doubt whatsoever, I will never, ever, ever, ever go to Texas again EVER.

We Are Family ~ I Got All My Cousins and Me

This day will go down in history as the best day.

I got to see my cousin today that I haven't seen in 9 years. I got to see my 2nd cousin and godchild that I haven't seen in almost 20 years.

I had goose bumps today waiting for them to pick me up. My cousin Dolly and her daughter Dawn took me to Red Lobster for lunch. It was so good. I stayed at their house until it was time to see my other 2nd cousin and godchild.

Oh, he looks so much like his father, it takes my breath away. He is married to a beautiful woman who I really adore.

Sometime during the afternoon and evening I spent with them ~ I got that though ~ I can't wait to call my mom and tell her all about this ~ but my mom is deceased and I can't call her.

If I die tomorrow, today will have been the best day.

Tour of Spring Fashions

I am very eclectic in most everything. From my choice of books, food, movies and especially fashion.

I was perusing the internet for some new clothes for spring and I was pleased as punch to find this Fantasy Tunic. It is trimmed and with lace and very feminine.

Then I saw this beautiful Crochet & Pearl Dress. it's soft blue and and almost faerie like. It has tiny faux pears. I love it.


One of my favorite things to wear are pajamas. After a long day of pleasing men, I like to relax in David and Goliath p.j.'s
My favorite shoes are Chinese Laundry. I love the way they feel and I love the way they look. Chinese Laundry shoes are sexy and flirty and make my legs look magnificent

My favorite purses are Michael Kor's. They are, a bit cost prohibitive, but when I want to splurge, I definitely go with Michael Kor.


Life is not complete without "comfy clothes". When my day is done ~ but yet I'm not ready for bed ~ it is comfy clothes time. Nothing in the world is better than Victoria Secret Pink for comfy clothes. They are sexy and feminine ~ yet soft and cozy.

I absolutely love shopping. And after my Fantasy Tour of Spring Fashions....I think I'm going to have a really sweet wardrobe.
