The Bucket List

So, today I turned 41. My dad was 41 when he passed away, so I feel a bit creepy about turning this age.

What is making turning 41 even creepier is that there are only a FEW things that I have always wanted to do before I "go" but they are actually happening.

Let me expound:

I have always wanted to go to New Orleans. I am going to New Orleans in September.

I have always wanted to go to New York and see Broadway Shows, I am going to New York and seeing Broadway Shows.

I have always wanted to go on a cruise, but because of my deep fear of water and flying, I have never gone. Well, this cruise is too good to pass up...I have a client taking me on a Panamanian Cruise in March.

The ONLY thing left on my Bucket List is:

~ Go on a tour of Napa Valley Wineries
~ Go on a bicycle tour of Ireland
~ Meet Ellen Degeneres

If the following wishes come true, I am pretty sure my time is going to be up..........

A very nice man who knows my PASSION for musicals and theater in general is taking me to NY to see a whole bunch of plays on Broadway.

He gave me a gazillion to pick from and these are the ones I chose:

Boeing-Boeing
Hairspray
Chicago
9 to 5
Grease
Jersey Boys
White Christmas
Xanadu

I am leaving after my October party and will be gone for about 5 days. Can life get ANY BETTER THEN THIS????

I'm Sorry Ms. Snapping Turtle

Whenever I get the opportunity, I take my dogs to a park not far from my house. The other day, I saw a snapping turtle.

Not being a nature buff, but an animal lover, I didn't want the snapping turtle to wander out into the parking lot and possibly get hit by a car.

I very quietly went behind it, and tried to pick it up and it reared it's head and tried to bite me.

Ok, so then I attempted to sort of push it along back in the water. However, it sort of ran out of steam and I just said to myself......I tried.

I came home, went online and found out that the snapping turtle was a FEMALE and was in the process of laying eggs.

I would like to profusely apologize to Ms. Snapping Turtle. I do understand what it is like to go through labor and delivery. I went through it twice and had NATURAL CHILDBIRTH with both of my children. I hope, Ms. Snapping Turtle, that I didn't make you go through any unnecessary pain and suffering.
