Just as an fyi ~ it is going to be 70 degrees in Phoenix.

The Birds

If I didn't know better, I would say that Alfred Hitchcock's inspiration for The Birds was born in Texas. His inspiration was actually a novel by Daphne du Maurier.

When I was in Texas, I saw these birds called Grackles. They are so scary. Every day between 5:00 and 5:30 ~ these birds migrated to one place in the Galleria. These birds scared me to the 100th degree.

There weren't 10 or 20, there were like 100 or 200 or more. They landed on power lines and the roofs of buildings and the traffic lights.

I can saw beyond any doubt whatsoever, I will never, ever, ever, ever go to Texas again EVER.

We Are Family ~ I Got All My Cousins and Me

This day will go down in history as the best day.

I got to see my cousin today that I haven't seen in 9 years. I got to see my 2nd cousin and godchild that I haven't seen in almost 20 years.

I had goose bumps today waiting for them to pick me up. My cousin Dolly and her daughter Dawn took me to Red Lobster for lunch. It was so good. I stayed at their house until it was time to see my other 2nd cousin and godchild.

Oh, he looks so much like his father, it takes my breath away. He is married to a beautiful woman who I really adore.

Sometime during the afternoon and evening I spent with them ~ I got that though ~ I can't wait to call my mom and tell her all about this ~ but my mom is deceased and I can't call her.

If I die tomorrow, today will have been the best day.
